How to zip your project

Almost any Android zip works. Here's what happens, and what to avoid.

Nesting depth doesn't matter. Your settings.gradle gets found wherever it is.

Wrapper optional. Missing? We add one. Have one? Used as-is.

local.properties is removed so it can't break the build.

Custom CI workflow? Used as-is if present. Otherwise, one's generated.

Build output is skipped: build/, .gradle/, *.apk. Regenerated fresh.

What gets sent to our servers. The zip, link, or code you submit is uploaded automatically to build your APK, along with basic technical data (IP address, device/browser type, timestamps) needed to run and secure the build service.

Why we use it. Solely to run your build, show progress, generate your APK and signing key, and keep your build history on this device.

What we don't do. We don't sell your data, and we don't inspect uploaded source beyond what's needed to build it.

Storage & retention. Build artifacts and logs are kept only as long as needed to let you download them, then removed on a rolling basis. Signing keys are yours - download and back them up yourself.

Security. Uploaded projects and build data are transmitted over encrypted connections and access is restricted to what's needed to run your build. No system is 100% breach-proof; if we ever discover unauthorized access to your data, we'll notify affected users as required by law.

Local storage. Your device also keeps small bits of data locally (like your build history and a device ID) to make the app work across visits. This isn't shared with anyone and you can clear it anytime from the History tab or your browser settings.

Your choices. You can clear your local build history anytime from the History tab. To request deletion of anything held server-side, contact us.

Your responsibility. You confirm you have the right to build and distribute whatever project you upload. Don't submit malware, stolen code, or anything you don't own or have permission to use.

Service as-is. Builds are provided "as is," with no guarantee of uptime, build speed, or that every project configuration will succeed.

Your keys, your responsibility. Signing keys are generated for you and not recoverable if lost - back them up. Losing a key means you can't publish updates to that same app listing.

Fair use. Build limits exist to keep the service usable for everyone; automated abuse or attempts to bypass limits may get access restricted.

Limitation of liability. Tycept isn't liable for damages arising from your use of a built app, content you uploaded, or service interruptions, to the maximum extent the law allows. You're responsible for your own project's compliance with applicable law.

Changes. These terms may be updated occasionally; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
